The Annual Business Meeting of Scatacook District, Connecticut Yankee Council, Boy Scouts of America, will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at 7:30 PM, at St Thomas Church, 95 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel, Connecticut. Click here for a map.
The purpose of the Annual Meeting will be to receive the report of the District Nominating Committee. This District Nominating Committee will present a list of recommended District Members at Large, and a list of recommended District Officers (Chairman and one or more Vice Chairmen as may be appropriate). The District Nominating Committee will then conduct an election of Members at Large and District Officers, to serve for the 2012 Scout Year (January 4, 2012 - January 2, 2013).
The District Nominating Committee will also recommend a District Commissioner from among the District Members at Large for approval by the Council Executive Board at the Council Annual Business Meeting. The District Commissioner position is not elected by the District.
Recommendations for District Members at Large and District Officers should be submitted to the Chair of the District Nominating Committee.
